September 18, 2014
This is the first in a series of lectures celebrating the centennial of liturgical artist, writer, and social activist Adé Bethune (1914-2002). Dr. Upton explores the life of Adé Bethune, with focus on her passion for social justice. This passion grew from Bethune's involvement with the Catholic Worker and characterized her whole life.
